If you're looking for a change of scenery and the discovery of a rich and incredible culture, then Laos is THE destination not to be missed! Long reserved for the most intrepid travellers, the country is now open to everyone. Discover the wonders of Laos!

To enter Laos, you need a valid visa. Why not opt for the electronic visa? Introduced at the beginning of July 2019, this service allows you to obtain a visa quickly, without queuing once you are in the country, and to pay for everything online. Simple and quick, this process can also be entrusted to an agency, which will then make the application and become your privileged contact and intermediary between you and the Laotian authorities.

Luang Prabang is the former royal city and today remains the spiritual heart of Laos. Take the opportunity to visit the many temples that abound here on foot. Take time to admire their beauty and why not take part in the ceremonies that take place there morning and evening?

You can also take a boat trip, visit the surrounding villages or the Pak Ou cave.

The Mekong is at the heart of Laotian life. It is possible to sail on part of this long river, so you can enjoy a guided cruise. You can travel to a number of towns in the north or to Luang Prabang. Make the most of a quiet day on the Mekong to admire the karst landscapes... Real postcard scenery!

Vientiane is a calm and peaceful city, quieter than other Asian capitals, but well worth a visit! The city is brimming with temples, all of which are beautiful and have an interesting history.

The people of Vientiane are all very friendly and the little streets are full of life, even if you leave the more touristy area.

What to do: take a stroll along the Mekong when the sun goes down... Idyllic!

A few kilometres from the capital lies Buddha Park. Extravagant and strange, this place brings together statues each more original than the last... A surprising blend of Hinduism and Buddhism!

This Unesco World Heritage site in the south of the country is home to several temples dating back more than 1,000 years and of Khmer origin. This group of temples lies at the foot of a sacred mountain.

If you're looking for peace and quiet, then Si Phan Don is the place for you! This destination is well known as a paradise for those who love sun and relaxation. But if you're the active type, there's plenty to do too: tubing, cycling in the rice paddies, kayaking, fishing - it's all possible!
